We were there this summer

This summer, as part of a major awareness campaign, the Namur 2030 team hit the road to attend several key events across the region — from the Temploux flea market to the Solidarities Festival, not to mention the Apéros Namurois.

On August 16th and 17th, 2025, the Namur 2030 team was at the famous Temploux flea market, one of Wallonia’s must-attend summer events, which this year drew over 200,000 visitors. Under sunny skies and in a festive atmosphere, our stand welcomed countless curious visitors and gathered their messages of support through a videobooth.

Then, on August 22nd, 23rd, and 24th, we brought our energy to the Solidarities Festival — a vibrant, socially engaged event that celebrates diversity, inclusion, and civic action.

Right in the heart of the festival site, our booth became a space for meaningful conversations about current projects aimed at building a more united and sustainable Namur. Through interactive activities and open discussions, residents shared their ideas, asked questions, and got actively involved in shaping our shared future. The cherry on top? Our Namur 2030-themed temporary tattoos were a big hit 😎

In addition to these two major activations, the Namur 2030 project was also present as a partner at several other vibrant events, including the Apéros Namurois, the Namur-Jambes World Folklore Festival, the Love Boat, and Esperanzah.

A huge thank you to everyone who stopped by — your input directly feeds into the Namur 2030 project. Let’s keep dreaming and building a city that reflects our values. Full speed ahead to victory!
